Early opinions of last season
In a brief moment of enthusiasm as last season was just starting, I thought it would be a bright idea to copy some comments from WHO as the season progressed and have a good laugh at them in May. That little project lasted about a week and was then forgotten. I've just found the file and would like to share it with you now.

Re: There's a strange sort of negativity on here
What always beggars belief is that despite evidence to the contrary and there is a stack of it, 46%, yes 46% think we will win at Liverpool.

Blind faith if there ever was. Admirable but bordering on insanity.

There will be an absolute wankfest if we go away at Liverpool and win.

ON SLAVEN BILIC

Rodfarts 2:01 Fri Aug 7
Re: Bilic gets no compensation if relegated
Bilic proved nothing in club football except he is a fucking liability. Released at every club manager role he has had the owners were fucking mental to take him on in such a crucial time at our club.

But the fucking penny pinching owners saw an opportunity to pinch penny's and the rose tinted nostalgic fans called the cunts name.......hey presto we end up with Bilic........oh and Julian fucking Dicks running our team.

While the owners counted the pennies and the nostalgic rose tinted fans wanked furiously the media and football world(along with BFS) laughed. Then we all watched Bilic throw together botched up teams in pre season games and watched his teams play pointless football with no direction and now we worry..........What the fuck is this cunt doing?

Well I warned you all months ago about Bilic & Dicks.....unfortuantly I see it playing out exactly as I said......sacked before Christmas.

Fucking clueless football manager and in way over his head.

Texas Iron 1:28 Fri Aug 7

Bilic was my 7th choice...

Vexed 12:22 Fri Aug 7
Re: Bilic gets no compensation if relegated
Bilic was barely anyone's first choice. It speaks volumes that Bilic doesn't think he can keep us up without bottling every other competition.

Fucking loser.

Annony 12:07 Fri Aug 7
Re: Bilic gets no compensation if relegated
Bilic shouldn't be blamed for taking a big job offer and pay day to go with it, even if he had to sign the relegation caveat.

I was never in favour of Bilic and think he was a cheap option,

toadinthehole 11:53 Thu Aug 6
Re: Bilic gets no compensation if relegated
I thought we signed Bilic partly cos of the former player relation. Its clear now he's greedy and only in it for the money

Slaven's footballing philosophies
It dawned on me the other week watching us , that our style of play has not changed much at all under the new regime.

camel-with-3-humps 8:24 Sun Aug 23
Re: Be careful what you wish for part 2
Billoc is way out of his depth. He should have got fast wingers - then we could have played tight counter attacking football, meaning the transition from BFS would be easier. Instead the clown is clueless.

Thames Ironworks 12:35 Wed Aug 26
Re: There's a strange sort of negativity on here
The negativity comes out of the club. The spin and excessive optimism prematurely blurted out by the club drives this negative behaviour. As results come in and fail to deliver you then get the backlash and this is where the club fails.

You only have to look at the Allardyce exit and events afterwards. - Jurgen Klopp linked, Unai Emery and Bielsa and we end up with the supposed first choice Bilic.

Willtell 9:51 Wed Aug 26
Re: There's a strange sort of negativity on here
I feel very negative at the moment. I see a bright new manager hampered by owners that always expect to negotiate a bargain even when trying to buy quality players when the supply is extremely limited.

As a consequence we have gaps in our team that all the coaching in the world can't fill.

Re: There's a strange sort of negativity on here
I am right behind Bilic. He has had an interesting introduction whereby he was installed after the players had returned for pre-season training and had only just been installed in time for the first Europa League game. Then he was in Ireland with half the squad while the other half was in England.

He was trying to get players in quickly whilst at the same time getting to know his squad he already had and then try and instill a new way of playing. A way that worked at the Emirates, but not since. He will get it right, we won't get relegated.

Alex V 5:57 Mon Aug 24
Re: There's a strange sort of negativity on here
I can only speak for myself. I've not been at all impressed by Bilic yet, and so I absolutely feel uneasy about our prospects right now. Also the transfer window has not been resolved yet, so there's uncertainty there. I wouldn't call it negativity - it's a feeling of just not knowing where the club stands right now.

Tommy Dickfingers 4:53 Mon Aug 24
Re: There's a strange sort of negativity on here
Bilic`s CV is average at best
Little spent in the window
Europa league was pointless
No idea what our best 11 is

Even if we are European champions, beating the likes of Barcelona, it is still possible to lose to teams like Leicester on occasion.

I remember the slagging off Bilic was getting after Leicester at home. I did point out that they are a decent team. Well I was right wasn't I.
